NCAA approves proposal to allow teams to wear sponsorship logo patches

The NCAA Division I Cupboard on Friday authorised a proposal to permit groups to position company sponsorship emblem patches on recreation jerseys, gear and attire throughout regular-season competitors, opening up one other potential income stream for faculties.

Groups can start displaying as much as two emblem patches, not more than 4 sq. inches every, on uniforms beginning Aug. 1, and one patch on gear. An extra emblem patch will likely be permitted throughout convention championships.
