Minnesota soccer coach P.J. Fleck discovered a really unorthodox methodology to encourage his Golden Gophers earlier than upsetting USC on Saturday.
Not directly borrowing a transfer from the film Area Jam, Fleck instructed Minnesota’s KFAN sports activities radio station about his distinctive approach to hype his crew up after a tricky loss to Michigan.
“Gamers got an ‘antidote of confidence’ final Wednesday after their powerful Michigan loss,” Pioneer Press reporter Andy Greder shared on Twitter (X) about Fleck’s radio section. “The gamers drank the capsules, which contained Sprite, after which upset USC on Saturday.”
Similar to Michael Jordan inspired the Toon Squad with “Michael’s Secret Stuff” to beat the Monstars in Area Jam, Fleck used the “antidote of confidence” to spark a Minnesota upset over USC.
What a world! When you can’t say with confidence Fleck stole this from Area Jam, you’ll be able to’t say he didn’t both.
