The Detroit Pistons are signing Buddy Boeheim to a two-year, two-way contract, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Thursday.
Boeheim, who’s the son of longtime Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim, performed 10 video games for the Pistons throughout his rookie 2022-23 season. He performed within the NBA Summer time League, however was waived on Oct. 21 by the Pistons.
He then was designated to the Pistons’ G League crew, the Motor Metropolis Cruise, in late October. In 20 G League video games, Boeheim is averaging 15.6 factors on 43.8% three-point taking pictures this season.
The 2-way contract provides Boeheim the chance to be energetic for the Pistons’ remaining 28 video games if the crew chooses to raise him from the Cruise.
