Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk is feared to have suffered a sprained MCL in his proper knee, Shams Charania of The Athletic studies.
The harm occurred within the first quarter of Friday’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks, when Monk collided with Luka Doncic. He didn’t return to the sport.
Monk entered play Friday having appeared in 71 video games off the bench for the Kings, averaging a career-high 15.6 factors.
Earlier Friday, the Kings introduced beginning guard Kevin Huerter may have season-ending shoulder surgical procedure.
