Elena Rybakina pulled out of her Pan Pacific Open semi-final on Saturday citing again issues, a day after securing her spot within the season-ending WTA Finals.
The 2022 Wimbledon champion was as a result of face Linda Noskova of the Czech Republic – who will now meet Belinda Bencic in Sunday’s ultimate in Tokyo.
“I am very sorry I can not play at the moment,” Rybakina, 26, stated in an announcement.
“I’ve been having issues with my again this week and may’t play 100%. I’m disenchanted that my followers is not going to see me at the moment however I hope to see you subsequent 12 months.”
