Ski Butternut to Build New Quad Chair


Household-owned Ski Butternut plans to construct its second Skytrac in 5 years this coming summer season. The brand new raise, to be referred to as Jane’s Quad, will exchange the 50 yr outdated Overbrook triple. The quad will load decrease on the mountain and unload larger, following a modified alignment. The raise will likely be named for Jane Murdock, who based the ski space along with her husband Channing in 1963 and handed away final winter. Website preparation started final spring in partnership with the Massachusetts Division of Conservation & Recreation. “After a multi-year planning, engineering, and allowing phases, we’re excited to deliver this modernization to Ski Butternut,” stated Dillon Mahon, Advertising and marketing Director of Ski Butternut. “This space of the mountain is a favourite amongst our visitors, and this new raise will improve the general expertise. It’s a long run funding in the way forward for Ski Butternut and within the enjoyment of our skiers and snowboarders,” he continued.

Jane’s would be the second Skytrac constructed at Butternut following Paddy Wagon in 2021. The realm additionally operates three CTEC quads and can turn into a 100% mounted grip quad mountain for the 2025-26 season.
