AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and AEW Continental Champion Will Ospreay had a heated confrontation on the June 19 episode. Ospreay later acquired concerned in a brawl with Cage of Agony. AEW subsequently introduced that Ospreay and Strickland will group up simply days earlier than they conflict at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, as they are going to face Gates of Agony.
Plus, in an Owen Hart Basis Cup Event will proceed, as Jay White will face Rey Fenix in a quarterfinal match.
Lastly, Toni Storm, Mariah Might, and Mina Shirakawa will face Saraya, Anna Jay, and Harley Cameron. Storm will defend the AEW Ladies’s World Championship in opposition to Shirakawa at Forbidden Door.
