Swiatek becomes latest seed to fall at Canadian Open


Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek turned the most recent seed to fall on the Canadian Open as she suffered a shock defeat by Clara Tauson within the fourth spherical.

Denmark’s Tauson, ranked nineteenth, avenged her fourth-round loss to Swiatek at Wimbledon final month with a 7-6 (7-1) 6-3 victory over the second seed in Montreal.
