Tatum named first Jap Convention Participant of the Week of recent season initially appeared on NBC Sports activities Boston
The 2024-25 NBA season is just one week outdated, and Boston Celtics celebrity Jayson Tatum has already earned an award.
The NBA introduced its first Jap Convention and Western Convention Participant of the Week winners Monday. Tatum received for the East, and Los Angeles Lakers middle Anthony Davis received for the West.

Tatum helped lead the Celtics to a 3-0 begin with wins over the New York Knicks, Washington Wizards and Detroit Pistons. He’s averaging 33 factors, 6.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.3 steals per sport, whereas taking pictures 48.6 p.c from 3-point vary.
That is the eleventh time Tatum has received the Jap Convention Participant of the Week award. He received it as soon as final season in November.
Tatum and the Celtics will likely be again in motion Monday evening once they host Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks at TD Backyard.
