Three-time Indy 500 winner making first NASCAR start since 2008 at St. Petersburg

A 3-time Indianapolis 500 winner shall be making his first NASCAR begin since 2008 later in February.

On Tuesday, TRICON Storage introduced that Dario Franchitti, who received the Indy 500 in 2007, 2010 and 2012 and received 4 IndyCar championships, will drive the group’s No. 1 Toyota Tundra within the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Sequence race on the streets of St. Petersburg, Fla., on Feb. 28.

The Truck Sequence is racing in St. Petersburg along side the NTT IndyCar Sequence, which opens its season on the road course on March 1.
