Aaron Van der Beken (Ridley) and Wendy Oosterwoud (PAS) received the inaugural Flanders Legacy Gravel, a part of the UCI Gravel World Sequence. The Leuven gravel race is the primary qualifying race for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships, to be held in Australia.
Within the ladies’s elite class, Oosterwoud claimed the victory with a time of 4:34:28 over the 147km course, besting her closest rivals by 23 seconds. Nathalie Bex received the dash for second place forward of Tessa Neefjes.
“Nice strategy to finish the season! Took the win at present in Leuven! Will now take a while off of the bike and attempt to get again stronger subsequent season,” Oosterwoud posted on Instagram.

Van der Beken sprinted to victory from a 12-rider lead group within the males’s elite race, crossing the road in 4:02:12. Mats Omloop (VolkerWessels) and Jan Bakelants adopted in second and third, whereas Jody Bouts and Greg Van Avermaet rounded out the highest 5.
