We wish to be part of Snowbird in wishing a really completely happy birthday to Utah ski legend Junior Bounous who simply turned 100!
Junior is was born on August 24, 1925 and has been a real pioneer in snowboarding and is liable for introducing a number of generations to the enjoyment of snowboarding. Junior helped craft Snowbird’s trails and is known for setting data because the oldest heli-skier. The centenarian’s legacy continues to form the game. Bounous has skied 73 days final season at Snowbird and we hope to see him tearing it up this winter. We echo Snowbird’s sentiment in thanking Junior for his enduring impression on Snowbird, Utah and snowboarding!
