US guests had been in awe of the Dunes Course at Enniscrone throughout Friday’s King T Knox Worldwide Trophy.
The competitors was the brainchild of Roger Moyer and his mates, who’re invited yearly to Pine Valley by King T Knox. In return, they put up the trophy in recognition of King’s generosity.
Performed in very tough situations — a mix of solar, wind, and rain — there was an enormous turnout of members from Lancaster Nation Membership, which hosted the US Ladies’s Open Championship in June.
The competitors is performed in a scramble format, and groups include two abroad guests taking part in with two Enniscrone members.
Victory went to Steve Danco, Sharon Danco, Brian Casey and Sean Campion, whose rating of 60 nett edged out Gillespie, King T Knox, Joseph Forde and Séamus Duffy on the again 9.
