Premier League referee David Coote was suspended after a video went viral of him making disparaging remarks about Liverpool and their former German supervisor, Jurgen Klopp.
The veteran match official was banned “with quick impact pending a full investigation,” the Skilled Sport Match Officers Restricted stated in a press release Monday, in line with Paul MacInnes of The Guardian.
Coote referred to Klopp as a “German c–t” and known as Liverpool “shit” after being requested by an acquaintance about his emotions on the 2.

In a separate clip, Coote warns that the video of him criticizing Klopp and Liverpool should not be shared.
“Simply to be clear, that f—–g final video can’t go wherever, severely,” he stated.
Coote, one of many Premier League’s most skilled officers after making his debut in 2018, refereed Liverpool’s win over Aston Villa on Saturday.
