A pair of former US Open champions have been awarded US Open males’s singles wild playing cards.
2016 champion Stan Wawrinka and 2020 champion Dominic Thiem will enter this 12 months’s draw, together with six different wild playing cards, the US Open introduced on Wednesday.

39-year-old Wawrinka, a three-time main champion, and 30-year-old Thiem, taking part in in his final main, are joined by Chris Eubanks, Zachara Zvajda, Learner Tien, Matthew Forbes, Alexandre Muller and Tristan Schoolkate.
Tien received the US Open wild card problem, whereas Forbes received the USTA Nationwide Championships 18s at Kalamazoo final weekend.
Thiem is about to retire at Vienna in October. He’s presently ranked 211.
39-year-old Wawrinka is ranked 141. He’s 5-11 on the season.
