Overhead squats are good for the soul.

• Teaching Transient & Class Overview

At present’s session is designed to reinforce your overhead power and stability by way of the overhead squat. Following an intensive warm-up, athletes will progress by way of barbell-specific drills earlier than tackling a difficult power section. The session concludes with a dynamic exercise that mixes core and explosive actions, adopted by a mobility routine to assist restoration.

weightlifting:

Overhead Squat

Each 2:00 minutes x 5 Units

3 Reps @ 80%+ of 1RM Snatch

metcon: “bruiser’s bootcamp”

Each 2:00 minutes x 6 Units

8 Toe to Bar

5/5 Single Arm Dumbbell Dangle Snatch

12 Single Dumbbell Field Step-Overs

Field Peak: 24/20in

Dumbbell: 50/35lb, 22.5/15kg

Equipment:

5 Units: For High quality

3 Seated Field Jumps to Excessive Field

3/3 Single Leg Broad Jumps with 2 Foot Touchdown
