4-time Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka gained her first WTA title since triumphing on the 2021 Australian Open after beating Slovenia’s Kaja Juvan 6-1, 7-5 within the ultimate of the L’Open 35 de Saint-Malo — a WTA 125 event.
It was the 27-year-old Japanese participant’s first WTA title since she grew to become a mom in July 2023.
She took to social media to have a good time the victory, her first on clay.

Osaka struggled together with her lack of energy and accuracy as she did not progress past the second spherical of any Grand Slam final 12 months.
The previous world No. 1, who reached the third spherical of the Australian Open in January, is ready to function in the principle draw of the French Open later this month.
She is going to rise to No. 48 within the WTA rankings on Monday.
