The Worldwide Hockey Federation (FIH) is glad to announce that the next 12 high hockey athletes have been shortlisted for the FIH Finest Participant and the FIH Finest Goalkeeper of the 12 months Awards:
FIH Participant of the 12 months Award – Nominees:
Girls: Xan de Waard (NED), Alix Gerniers (BEL), Li Hong (CHN)
Males: Tom Boon (BEL), Nicolás Della Torre (ARG), Thierry Brinkman (NED)
FIH Goalkeeper of the 12 months Award – Nominees:
Girls: Anne Veenendaal (NED), Liu Ping (CHN), Grace O’Hanlon (NZL)
Males: James Mazarelo (ENG), Jean-Paul Danneberg (GER), Tomás Santiago (ARG)
The listing of nominees was established by an Skilled Panel* composed of gamers, coaches and television commentators chosen by the FIH. The professional panel was supplied entry to match knowledge from all worldwide matches held in 2025, together with Check Matches, Continental Championships, FIH Hockey Professional League, FIH Hockey Nations Cups and the FIH Hockey Nations Cup 2 earlier than establishing the ultimate listing of nominees.
The voting course of is now open! Nationwide Associations – represented by their respective nationwide groups’ captains and coaches -, followers, gamers, coaches, officers and media can register their vote till 16 November.
