NOW WHAT?…BACK TO THE GRIND
Welcome to the Open Hangover.
For the previous three weeks, the Open was a drug: adrenaline, anticipation, Friday Evening Lights vitality, nervousness, a whole lot of pleasure, and loads of alternatives to shock ourselves. We hti the exercises laborious, cheered like loopy, laughed lots, and possibly cared a bit of an excessive amount of about one rep on the rings.. And now? It’s over. The scores are in, the redos are achieved, and for lots of people, there’s a bit of little bit of an “Open Hangover.”
So… now what? Now we get again to the half that really issues most.
The actual magic of CrossFit isn’t in simply three weeks of competitors every spring. It’s within the day by day grind. It’s displaying up 3–5 days per week when there’s no judges, no cheering, no particular occasion—simply the exercise of the day, your coach, and the choice to maintain transferring ahead. That “odd” routine is what makes us more healthy, stronger, extra succesful people. It’s what offers us vitality to do extra in life, confidence to tackle laborious issues, and the power to be extra current for our households and associates. It’s what lets us set an instance for our children.. not by speaking about self-discipline, however by dwelling it.
The Open is thrilling. The grind is transformational.
