The Washington Commanders have given guard Sam Cosmi a four-year, $74 million extension based on ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Within the deal, Cosmi will get $45 million assured.
Cosmi, 25, was a second-round decide by the Commanders within the 2021 NFL Draft. He was drafted as a deal with, however moved to protect throughout his time in Washington. In his first three seasons within the league, Cosmi has began 32 video games on the Commanders’ offensive line.
Washington will hope that Cosmi can defend their new franchise quarterback Jayden Daniels, as they proceed to rebuild.
