Louis Dramm Spectacular as North Carolina Simply Defeats Queens

The College of North Carolina swim and dive groups welcomed Queens to Chapel Hill for twin meet motion Friday. UNC was dominant in each competitions, as the boys gained 166-93 whereas the ladies picked up a 173-83 triumph.

The Tar Heel males had two groups battling within the 200 medley relay, with the A-team of Reid Miller, Xavier Ruiz, Seb Lunak and Louis Dramm popping out on prime by 0.16 in 1:26.16.

Josh Dad or mum scored two wins within the 1000 freestyle (9:09.82) and 500 free (4:24.95), whereas Dramm topped the 200 free (1:34.75) and 200 IM (1:43.15). JD Schmid was the winner of the 100 backstroke (48.03) with Ruiz coming in first within the 100 breaststroke (53.81) and the 200-yard race (1:58.07).

Lunak was victorious within the 200 butterfly (1:44.06) and 100 fly (46.86) Martin Kartavi captured the victory within the 50 free (19.58), adopted by David Melnychuk going 1:45.16 to win the 200 again. Chris Booler completed first in 1-meter diving (346.35).

Queens obtained a person win from Daniel Meszaros within the 100 free (44.28), and he mixed with teammates Nien Levy, Stamatis Paleocrassas and TJ Spokas to win the 200 free relay in 1:19.16. Juan Gonzalez picked up prime honors in 3-meter diving (313.28).

Lily Reader kicked off the person occasions for the UNC ladies along with her time of 9:56.46 within the 1000 free. Sophia Frei got here in first within the 100 again (53.01), and Samantha Armand was first within the 100 breast (1:00.68). Mary Macaulay got here in forward of the sphere within the 200 fly (1:58.32), and the dash occasions went to Kamryn Meskill (50 free, 22.37) and Michaela Chokuerva (50.20).

Frei added one other win within the 200 again (1:55.07), as did Armand within the 200 breast (2:13.10). Lexie Ward was the winner within the 500 free (4:53.31), and Meskill had the highest time within the 100 fly (53.44). Macaulay wrapped up the person racing with a mark of 1:59.28 within the 200 IM. Ellie Joyce led the best way in 1-meter diving (299.92), and Lanie Gutch was first on 3-meter (312.38).

The North Carolina crew of Frei, Armand, Meskill and Chokureva topped the 200 medley relay in 1:38.43, and the 200 free relay went to Meskill, Mackenzie Headley, Chokureva and Eden Goettsch in 1:31.12. The lone ladies’s victory for Queens got here within the 200 free as Maddie Foster clocked 1:48.39.
