Nebraska Ladies Take Down Illinois as Genevieve Jorgenson Shines

A showdown between a pair of Huge Ten faculties with girls’s-only swimming and diving groups went the best way of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, with this group ending away from Illinois by a margin of 169-to-131.

Nebraska’s Genevieve Jorgenson bested the sector within the 1000 freestyle by a whopping 23 seconds, coming in at 9:41.68. Jorgenson later dominated the five hundred free with a time of 4:49.04. Illinois started the meet with a 1-2 end within the 200 medley relay, with the staff of Sydney Stoll, Kylee Classes, Logan Kuehne and Lily Olson topping the sector in 1:41.64. Stoll later received the 200 free in 1:48.72, and Suvana Baskar positioned first within the 100 again (54.48). Kuehne received the 50 free in 23.62, edging out Nebraska’s Tanko by one hundredth, whereas Laurel Bludgen acquired the higher of the sector within the 100 free (51.33).

Sara Jass was the winner of the 200 breast by three hundredths over Nebraska’s Maia Corridor, 2:13.61 to 2:13.64, and Jass later received the 200 IM (2:00.60).
