The 2025 Formulation 1 season begins this weekend, with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
Hours forward of the primary observe session of the 2025 marketing campaign, producers launched the official trailer for the upcoming F1 film starring Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Kim Bodnia. The film, filmed at varied grands prix over the previous two F1 seasons, stars Pitt as veteran driver Sonny Hayes. Hayes is described in a press assertion as the game’s “most promising phenom of the Nineties till a significant accident,” however he’s introduced again to assist mentor Joshua Pierce, performed by Idris, on the fictional crew APXGP.

The film is directed by Joseph Kosinski, and created by the filmmakers of Prime Gun: Maverick. F1 can also be produced partially by Lewis Hamilton.
The film shall be distributed in theaters and in IMAX by Warner Brothers, and debuts in North America on June 27, 2025. That’s the weekend of this yr’s Austrian Grand Prix.
