Sixth-ranked Zheng Qinwen of China has undergone arthroscopic surgical procedure on her proper elbow after experiencing “persistent ache” for a number of months.
The 22-year-old Olympic champion, who misplaced within the first spherical at Wimbledon to Katerina Siniakova, stated on Saturday the surgical procedure was successful.
