Paris Olympics: China Finishes 1-2 in Dominating Girls’s 10-Meter Diving
China continued its diving dominance on the 2024 Paris Olympics with a 1-2 end within the ladies’s 10-meter platform competitors.
The gold medal went to Quan Hongchan, who completed with a rating of 425.60, main from begin to end within the competitors.
Teammate Chen Yuxi took the silver medal with a rating of 420.70. She was second behind Quan within the preliminaries and semifinals and was the one different diver inside putting distance of the highest spot.
The bronze medal on the Paris Olympics went to Korea’s Mi Rae Kim, who used a late rise to earn the third spot. After preliminaries, she was tenth solely to rise to fourth after semifinals and end third with a rating of 372.10.
Canada’s Caeli McKey simply missed out on the rostrum with a fourth-place end of 364.50.
Mexico’s Gabriella Agundez took fifth with a rating or 350.40 and teammate Alejandra Orozco Loza took eighth with a 320.60, giving Mexico two within the high eight.
Nice Britain’s Andrea Spendolini Sirieix took sixth with a rating of 345.50 and Australia’s Ellie Cole was seventh with a 333.30.
There have been 29 divers within the area on the Olympics, which was narrowed to 18 for the semifinals, then 12 within the finals.
USA’s Delaney Schnell completed fifteenth (270.95) and teammate Daryn Wright took nineteenth, simply lacking the semis.
