An 18-year-old swimmer has drowned at Troopers Seaside on the Central Coast after a sandbank collapsed, sending 4 younger males into the water and a harmful rip present. Three of the swimmers had been rescued, with two native surfers serving to to save lots of one of many teenagers, however one 18-year-old was swept out to sea regardless of intensive search efforts by police, marine command and rescue helicopter crews. The drowning is being handled as a tragic accident with a report back to be ready for the coroner.
