The Freeride World Tour Is Returning To The United States In 2026

For the primary time since 2017, the FIS Freeride World Tour is returning to Alaska in 2026 for the YETI Alaska Professional on the legendary spines of Haines.

The occasion, held in partnership with YETI, shall be held in March 2026, bringing the highest freeride skiers and snowboarders onto the the towering, technical spines of Haines. With Alaska’s distinctive snow situations, advanced terrain, and steep ridgelines, the occasion will certainly push the bounds of freeride.

The Freeride World Tour made stops in Alaska in 2015, 2016, and 2017. It is going to be certainly one of six stops to make up the 2026 Freeride World Tour, joined by the Baqueira Beret Professional by Movistar, the Val Thorens Professional, the Georgia Professional, the Fieberbrunn Professional, and the YETI Xtreme Verbier by Honda.

“Bringing the Tour again to Alaska has been a dream within the making for years. Haines affords among the most dramatic and revered terrain on the earth—it’s the last word freeride venue. With YETI at our facet, we’re not simply coming again—we’re coming again stronger than ever.” – Nicolas Hale-Woods, CEO & Founding father of the Freeride World Tour

The Freeride World Tour has made 11 steps in the USA all through its historical past, together with the three stops in Alaska. It’s visited Palisades Tahoe, Mammoth Mountain, Kirkwood, Crested Butte, and Snowbird. Sadly it seems that Kicking Horse, the Freeride World Tour’s solely North American vacation spot from the previous few seasons, has been left off the occasion schedule for 2026.
