A Queensland resident has been caught swimming in his entrance yard throughout flood waters.
Footage has emerged of a surprisingly calm man wading in waist-deep flood waters in the course of the extreme flooding in far north Queensland.
Hobart Metropolis Councillor Louise Elliot has referred to as the individual “right down to Earth”.
“We’d like extra of that,” she informed Sky Information contributor Steve Worth.
“That’s the true Australian spirit there.”
