A lady spent 15 hours in a single day in a gondola at Heavenly Ski Resort after what should have been a miscommunication by resort workers.
KCRA3 stories Monica Laso was getting drained on the finish of a day of snowboarding and approached a employee and instructed them she was too exhausted to ski to the bottom. The employee guided her to the gondola to obtain to the underside of the hill. She bought entered the gondola at round 4:58 p.m. after which two minutes later, it stopped, leaving her alone and stranded.
Laso’s associates reported her lacking to the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Workplace after they couldn’t get ahold of her. It wasn’t till the gondola began working once more Friday and went again down the mountain that crews realized she had been there in a single day. South Lake Tahoe Hearth and Rescue assessed and handled Laso earlier than releasing her.
Heavenly Mountain Resort is investigating how this might have occurred.
